Teens Targeted Hispanics in Long Island Hate Killing

In front of a courtroom at times crowded with family members of seven teens accused in a fatal hate crime stabbing, a Suffolk prosecutor Monday said the group was "determined" to find a victim of Hispanic descent.

"In their own words, 'Let's go find some Mexicans to -- -- up,' " said Assistant District Attorney Nancy Clifford at First District Court in
Central Islip.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident but a national phenomenon. Anti-Latino hate crimes rose by almost 35% between 2003 and 2006. As I reported before, hate groups increased by half since the year 2000 and the number of new anti-immigrant groups increased to 300.

I feel bad for the gentlemen who was murdered, its just another senseless act of violence and racism. What gets my apple is the group Hispanics Accross America wanting to sue the parents of the kids who did the crime. Where were Hispancis Accross America when hispanics killed the group of college students in Newark, where are they for the other crimes committed by hispanics

Were the "Hispanics" who killed the college students looking for "insert ethnicity of college student"? No, that's what makes a hate crime different. I don't anything about the law suit you're speaking about and have never heard of Hispanics Across America.
